The Benefits of Membership

Membership in The DIR Project is free.

Yes, free. The DIR Project is driven by the passion of an all-volunteer crew, and we don't charge a penny for any of the services we provide to our community.

Full Members get:

• Unrestricted participation in local dive trips (subject to qualification requirements for Technical trips)
• Unrestricted participation in international trips (subject to qualification requirements for Technical & Cave trips)
• Unrestricted participation in special projects (subject to approval by Project Leader)
• Unrestricted participation in videoed skills dives.
• Access to the DIR Project Mentorship Program.
• Membership of the DIR Project members-only mailing list.

Associate Members get:

• Access to the DIR Project Mentorship Program.
• Participation in videoed skills dives when accompanied by Full Member.
• Participation in organized local shore dives when accompanied by Full Member.
• Participation in local dive trips when buddied with a Mentor (subject to availability: Full Members have priority in booking spaces)

Guest Members get:

• Unrestricted participation in local dive trips (subject to qualification requirements for Technical trips)
• Unrestricted participation in international trips (subject to qualification requirements for Technical & Cave trips)
